Anyone use Max for Ableton Live for live processing? Curious to know which patches you're using.

My experiments with using pitch recognition midi patches have been pretty awful. Getting a reliable lock on a bass signal is almost impossible. Maybe theres some high tech adaptive algorithms in store for the future.

Other than that I havent found a lot of reason to use software effects with DB, as my multi fx pedal does everything I need.

Yeah, I've seen pitch recog be a little unstable in regular MAX/MSP.

I was thinking more about looping and envelope processing with external midi controls (knobs or ribbon controllers).

The internet is surprisingly barren on this thread topic.
