Double Bass Anyone using 2x12 cab for URB?

Sorry, haven't A/B'd 2 single 12's to a 2x12. I've read pros and cons for both camps.
I've got a Aguilar GS412 just now, had a DB410 before that, the 412 such a great cab, I'll never use 10's again for my double bass. Nicer midrange from the 12's and greater control of depth. Just my findings though!! but if you've got a good deal on the Aguilar stuff, I'd go for It in a flash. I personally didn't get on with the AG500 in the long run, and now use an Iamp800 with the Aguilar cab. The 412 can be super loud, so I don't imagine any volume issues with a 2x12.

Circa 1994 I used an SWR Workingman's 2x12. I went shopping for a 2x10 and the sound of the 2x12 sold me.

Unfortunately, it was large and heavy (and that was the "lite" model). Picture yourself making two trips with 1x12 @ 45 pounds or one trip with 2x12 at 70 pounds. Or, if you prefer, picture some drummer carrying it for you.
