Anyone using a modeler ?

Helix HX Stomp replaced everything I used to own, including pedals.

It fits in the front of my gigbag, have 5 presets that cover everything and honestly you could probably sit and experiment with different patches / blocks for weeks straight and still not even scratche the surface.

Great community aswell, loads of free patches.

HX Stomp as well. It covers more than I need. If it was limited to its tuner, noise gate and SVT sim, it would already be worth the price. Add to that every other models and its reamping capability, it's awesome. I could live with it for the rest of my life.
Modelers are now fantastic sound-wise. I don't think they will improve much in that aspect. New ones will offer more processing power for parallel paths, a gazillion effects and seamless switching but the current offer is pretty solid.

2 paths. Since version 3.0, the maximum blocks number was raised from 6 to 8 total, but you can run out of processor before that if you use DSP-intensive models like the polyphonic pitch-shifter.

Just did a session a couple weeks ago with my Firehawk FX, using a patch I made based on a Bassman amp. Engineer loved it. I wouldn't recommend the Firehawk for bass though, as there are very few usable options.
