    Greetings

I wanted to know if anyone around here is using an Aguilar Combo as their Rig and if they could give me any feedback or suggestions where to find one at the best price. Thanks , Major Metal.

  2. I use an ag500 with a gs112, it's just a little easier to carry around then the combo imho. It sounds great, and it's easy to haul. And sadowsky and aguilar go together like PB and J.

Yeah they really do blend together very well, where would you recomend to pick one up?. Thanks

  4. I have no idea, I'm a canadian so I don't really know where the good deals are in the US. I've dealt with bassnw in the past and they were really good to me, bought my used sadowsky there, but I don't know what their prices are like on new stuff.

IME, Any amp you step away from will sound different than if you're very close to it.

+1 for the AG500/gs112 (non) combo. I like the portability of the two seperate pieces better than I like picking them both up at once. I guess it probably would be a rather light combo amp though, (not like my Eden Metro!!). It's amazing how versatile this small package is! They DO sound great together. Lots of used gs112's around for cheap-ish too! Good luck-

  7. There's this place in Virgina called Jive Sound that can probably hook you up with a pretty good price.

My AG500/GS112 combo sounds very nice.

The Aggie 1x12 combo is 60 lbs according to their website. That's the same as the total weight of the AG500 and the GS112. Just of matter of whether you want it all in one package or spread into two packages.

I saw this thread and said "Ah, so he's given up on the ampeg, has he? Shame."

Best of luck though, Major. Let us know how you dig the aggie.
