anyone using the modtone mini mod compressor?

It's hard to find any info online about people who've used this compressor for bass. It's much easier to find good reviews from people who've used it for guitar. I just bought one on ebay in brand new condition, but used, for $35 shipped. This will be my first foray into a bass compressor pedal. I was just wondering if anyone had any input on the pedal, pros, cons, comparable pedals, etc

I have one and love it, reminds me of my old orange squeezer. I also use a Duncan double back, bbe opto stomp, dbx 166a, and an old art leveler. The modtone is very good.

Is it really suitable for bass? Doesn't drop low end?

I accidentally bought the overdrive instead of the compressor so I never got to try it.
