I got one since a few months ago, and it has this annoying sissling high pitched noise comin out of it, it's not loud as you hear it when you play, but as I bought this amp to have in my home studio I want it turned on all time so I can just grab the bass when I need to test an idea or record something, and while it's quiet and I do editing or something in my computer, that sissling noise really gets to me.
PJB has been excellent about this and they sent the cards in the amp for a swap at my local repair shop, which did not change the situation, I got both a belkin pure av isolating power strip and an APC Line-R to make sure I got clean stabile power, and the only thing to do now, is to get a on-line double conversion UPS but I start to believe that it wont help me, and that the problem is indeed by design and can not be solved by any more current cleaning tricks.
None of my studio monitoring systems or subwoofers have this, or any other similar problem, so I am a bit worried here now and have started to check how to possibly isolate the switch mode transformer/power supply in the Flightcase, as I suspect it's because of bad isolation of that piece I get this problem.
Anyone who can confirm that they do/don't have this problem?
I live in France, 220 volt 50hz, just for the information, though the amp is intended for that and of course bought here in Europe.
