Got a question for everyone. Need some opinions/help. I've just recently gotten married. We moved into an apartment complex. my amps came with me but I can't play them. Lots of complaining idiots. So I'm needing some help on figuring out how I can play at home. Software through the computer? ? I have no idea. Need some help. Thanks. -steve

So your neighbors are "idiots" because they expect their own home and place where they sleep and relax after a hard days work to be free of the rumblings of someone practicing bass guitar?

I'm just trying to understand your mental point of view here.

As for practicing in an apartment, you need a headphone amp or an amp with a headphone out. ...and of course, headphones.

but if you want to use your computer you need an audio interface, focusrite make some good cheap ones and a DAW like Logic or ableton. TBH though thats a bit unecessary unless you want to record yourself as well. The iRig things for phones/ipads would probably be best. Or buy a little preamp with a headphone jack...

My friend who plays actives used to just plug some head phones straightinto the bass output...
