Aphex xciter problem..,

I have her running on a T Rex fuel tank Jr.

I took it off my pedalboard and ran straight through it to the amp and the passive/active pad on the back worked, my sound was bright and clear, then as soon as I engage the switch the light comes on and it just mutes...:eyebrow:

I plan on taking the bottom off to look for blown capacitors or something but the screws are stripped so I get to figure out how to get those out first

Hi,
I know that this is a long time after the original thread started, but I've just started having exactly the same issue with mine.
Did you ever manage to get it sorted? and what did you have to do?
I'm guessing by the lack of info on faults on this unit that they are usually uber-reliable, and I really love mine, but now discontinued (and have you seen the replacement? Not a good design choice methinks!)
Cheers

Well, this will not help, but I have exactly the same issue as the previous two guys. It just happened today.. I suspect the switch as well, because few months ago it behaved strange when stomped on (some crackles), but worked further... Will post here if it will be solved.
