Umm - does being considered by many to be anal retentive mean you have OCD?

Yup!
I just spent the last 3 solid weeks studying sequential secondary substitute dominants, there related ii chords and the 'correct' scales according to the Beerkely college theory.
1) The beerkely chord scale theory is not a flexable theory in my oppinion. Its very involved and takes sheer relentless ocd to learn and apply it. It took all the freedom out of music for me. Now I cant help but reduce music to formulas and endless mathamatical problems to be solved.
2) Ocd made me a better player at the expense of my enjoyment.
3) Im not gonna make a dime playing music ever, soooo whats this all for?
Its all for ocd I guess.![]()
This would be defined as "Drive and Ambition" Not OCD
OCD is not a choice it's a Mental malady.
