are Hartke heads reliable?

I have been running a Hartke 5000 head through a Carvin 1-15 and 2-10, and using them bi-amped. I really love the sound that I get out of them, and the Bi-amp setting really tends to make the sound clearer and more crisp, not so much mud. Yes, it is softer, but I mike the 2-10 and put that through the mains, and get plenty of volume.
The only gripe I would have is the DI out of the back of head. Using it post effects make the sound bassy and very "whumpish"(I think I just made a word.) So, I have to go pre effects out of the head and have a real dry clear sound, or mike the 2-10's and work with the engineer.
But overall, I would say the Hartke heads are well worth the investment.

Hey Jim, tell me about your BSE-410HLF please.
As you should have noticed, I'm gonna buy the Hartke 3500 head, and I'm very interested on getting the Ampeg BSE-410HLF.

The Hartke pumps out 240 watts at 8 ohms and 350 watts at 4 ohms. I would like to just get one cab. Is the BSE-410HLF enough????

Please help!!!

P.D. I can get the BSE-410HLF here in Puerto Rico for $660, but I can negociate a better deal.
