I ended up buying the Rocko branded P bass and it is indeed a Hondo. It is a killer P bass, great neck, very good hardware and pups(Di Marzio) It has a classic p bass tone but better than my Fender in every way. It was owned by a bluegrass player and he took amazing care of it, it is in mint condition and I also bought his old Garnett 50 watt amp to complete the set. A great find.
