Are there any 5-string hollow-bodies?

For my two cents worth, have you heard the 4-string acoustic basses used anywhere? I've heard several in the past month, at the Uncle Dave Macon festival and Smithfield Fiddlers Jamboree. Not sure all the makes but one was a Fender. None really sounded good enough for me to want one. The uprights are huge but sound soooooo much better in an outdoor acoustic venue, which those two are. (No electrics allowed) A 5-string would have the same limitations as the 4-string outdoors.

Have you looked at the Godin A5? It's not lound enough to keep up with fiddlers outdoors without an amp, but they are loud enough to play with a single acoustic guitar.

I hope this doesn't sound rude, but why not just apply money towards an amp? Any bass can play anything if the person playing it can. The bass itself won't play any rhythms or notes for you. And, if you have an iOS device, for less than $30 you can get an amp sim (plenty of choices) and a cable to input your bass. eBay will be your friend here, I paid $7 for an irig, $9 for a griffin cable on clearance at target, and $10 for a USB interface, all are perfectly fine to practice.
A good amp can be found cheaply as well if you look in the right places. I wouldn't waste your money on a cheap hollow body or an acoustic bass guitar. I went that route 20 years ago. I have none of it now. I didn't play any better either.

I like that logic, that's why I came here. Eastwood has a new Classic 5 too.

the AGB205 and AGBV205 are indeed beauty 5 string semi-hollow bodies. I've been GASsing for either one for quite some time.

But now Ibanez has even more of 5 string semi-hollow bodies. The SRH505 and its fretless sibling the SRH505F from the Bass Workshop series are more appealing to me since they've combined semi-hollow body with Piezo pickup and more traditional 34" scale.
