Are there strings you actually dislike?

I played Roto Swings exclusively through the 80’s into the early 90’s until I started getting “duds” every few sets. That caused me to dislike them.

I never liked them. I love the nickels, though.

I've been trying out different strings since the beginning of the year and while I certainly like some better than others, I don't actually dislike any of them (except maybe for La Bella 0760M's .110 string, which I never managed to intonate properly). Are there strings you actually dislike?

I just don't like strings which are to stiff. That's all.

Strings are kind of like skateboard wheels. They have to be really bad for me to dislike them. I'm just entranced by the variety. I even like half wounds despite their nails-on-chalkboard feel and the fact that they made my fingertips turn black and start to fall off.

So far, I've only disliked two sets, those being DR Hi Beams and GHS Bass Boomers.
