Are these pickups safe to use?

I just got some new pickups and the wires look strange

The picture shows the pickup wires from both pickups, strange part is tht the wire seems bare, it's like a thin strip of metal

Is it safe to use? And which one is hot since there there's no insulation on the bare wire?

Please post a picture of the actual pickup. In the meantime, this appears to be a standard version of hot/ground wiring. Conventionally, the wire with insulation is the "hot," and the bare wire is the "ground." We will know for sure when you post a picture of the entire pickup.

Yes it is safe to use. cut the bare wire shorter and solder it to the guitar ground (probably a pot body) so it does not reach anything that is-not ground. Hot is the insulated. I am assuming these are two pickups (one for bridge and one for neck). The neck pickup would be the white most likely, but check which one is longer... The longer cable is typically installed on neck pickups.

Yes, wow, you can b investigator

Because they are only few china maker sell rail-type J pup on internet. Donlis are the one has clean work on their products.

I been own both donlis P pup and MM alnico V pup myself on positive site. Their white MM pup was my suggestion to Donlis while I still active on sterling Ray4/5 club.

Both pup are direct drop in for Fender P and sterling Ray. Unlike Wilkinson china, the pup cover has unfit able wider length.

Didn't know it was so obvious, I was just looking for something tht are 93/90 cm and suits the string spacing as it's for a 5 string

Figured poles won't work cause they r really specific for the spacing

And of cus the price since it was just an experiment
