OK, I though you were perhaps referring to an Instagram video I posted above with someone slapping Rotosound Swing Bass nickel plated strings.

I understand what you are saying but I think they sound good slappin". One of the brighter Nickels. I agree that steels are generally better but for a Nickel I think it slaps great.

I agree with all the above. Sunbeams aren't bad at all for slap; but if slapping were my bread and butter, I'd probably look in another direction.
