I have a bass. It was made by a very reputable luthier,
IE good stable wood.
The truss is not engaged in the set up that I have at this point. Bass plays very well.
The neck isn't quite perfectly stable and because of lack of truss adjustment I can't minutely compensate.
Would a refret and the carving relief into the fretboard creating the need to engage the truss be a benefit??
