Are Thomastik strings easier on the hands

Would you guys try the jazz flats on a Stingray 5? I guess I’m concerned about about the b string mostly.

I love TI jazz flats on my four strings, but did not like the B string in their five string set. Even with the .135 diameter it was very vague and dull. Just one person’s opinion.

I would if I had a SR5. I did have a SR4H that I put a very old set of Chromes on. Sounded great, to me.

I have TI flats on my Pedulla Rapture 5 with single humbucker. Sounds fantastic; all 4 of my basses, which are very different from each other, sound great and play nice with TI flats.

If you give the B enough time to break in, you'll be rewarded with a heavenly sound — just be sure to mind the pickup height as well.

Yes they feel spongy and soft, but still taut enough in most situations. Another would be LaBella LTF. Those are the two softest flats, period.

Did some research here and removed some neck relief. Didn't need to adjust string height but I may. Played it again after the neck relief adjustment, in my GK Legacy. Sounds great. Sounds better than my headrush, but I haven't put a lot of time in the headrush bass settings.

Sade Smooth Operator is really fun.
