Are WARWICK GB7 real Gotoh tuners?

Hi everyone,

are WARWICK GB7 real Gotoh tuners?
So, just relabeled Gotohs?

Or are they just "Gotoh style" made by Warwick?

Licensed by Gotoh, but not made by Gotoh. That means lower quality than the real thing.

Definitely not "real" Gotoh tuners. The tuning machines that Warwick uses have a reputation for failing.

Warwick tuners used to be real Japanese Gotoh GB7, as the stock ones I have on my 91 Thumb. Somewhere in the mid-90s, Warwick started producing their own replica, witch are lighter, and of lesser quality.
