Double Bass Are Zeta EUB's any good?

Zeta. That's so 1990's. Kind of fun in a throwback way. They were never intended to replace acoustic instruments, but as their own violin rockstar thing, which was their focus and what they were known for. When I tried one of their basses way back then, it felt like no one there ever played a DB before and just eyeballed it or just decided to just scale up their cello. Not that it was cheap or of low quality, but it just wasn't intuitive to a DB player. It was an instrument that didn't make any sense to me.

Interesting... I felt more like they took a full-size bass and left the neck and bridge in place, and morphed away all the rest. I used to play upright in chamber orchestras and amateur symphonies, and found that this was a pretty good space saver! Mine totally plays like an acoustic upright, within reason. But yes, very 90s! :)
