Argghhh bad gig!

Sometimes you don't get the best situation in which to play so you just play your best and trust it sounds OK out front.
+1 This is a good survival skill to cultivate. Also remember the audience is composed mostly of non-musicians, who have neither the ability nor the desire to nit-pick all those little flaws you thought you heard. You go like this: :bassist::hyper:, they have a good time, mission accomplished.
