Hi all,
i juz got a 2nd hand Aria AVB-100 in a pawnshop.
it's ash body and neck through.... thought it was a good deal.
i tried it at home with my amp and i was surprised that even if it's active it's not that loud....
pots have a scratchy sound and the eq knobs don't do much as well...
i need your advice coz i have some questions in mind:
Do you think i should have it rewired?
Could it be the pots or the preamp?
Can i replace the pikup with a passive pickup even if it's active?
I'm thinking of replacing the pups with Artec pups but im not sure if that will make a huge difference...
