This is a special one - Japanese take on a vintage P! Fantastic player and smooth, huge sounding P bass, with the 70s all natural look and the cream P pickup. I believe for everything to be original minus the tuners(or just the D-tuner). Fun fact - the serial literally dates this to be the first production model Aria P of 1980 so it's pretty rad! Specs below:
- Maple neck, rosewood board(harder to find with vintage Arias), healthy truss
- Nitro finish on back of neck, very smooth
- Ash body with some serious GRAIN
- Healthy frets, low action and no buzz
- 1 9/16" nut
- Vintage Dimarzio Pickup(I believe that's what they were putting in these basses at the time)
- Hipshot D-tuner
- Strung with GHS Precision Flats(40-95)
- 9.3 lbs
Great action and awesome playability! Bass sounds awesome with flats or rounds and sits super well in a band mix. Most importantly it feels great! Recently had it set up so it's gig ready. Has blemishes and dings but it's what to be expected for a 42 year old bass. Here's your chance to get that vintage P feel without breaking the bank. $800 shipped to CONUS. Let me know if you have any questions!
