Aria Pro II Mad Axe - any info?

I believe they came in black only, P/J configuration. I'm also somewhat sure that were made AFTER that Matsumoku factory days but as usual, I could be wrong

I have one, It´s not in the best condition though but i just got it back today, im gonna start buying parts soon. I dont know much about Aria but i have been surfing for a couple of days searching for some Info on this particular bass and havent found anything good yet, all i know is i saw one for sale on a french site for 140 euros.
I still own mine, it was my first bass back then, purchased in 1991. Mine is white, P/J configuration (the P magnet is moved a few toward the fingerboard if compared to a standard P), the headstock is Fender/Like shape. I guess mine was made in Korea. I payed something around 150 EU (300.000 old Italian Lire).
Despite the plywood body, the overall quality build is good. The tone is better than the two P Basses i owned in the past, more solid, more punch, more presence. At a recording session i remember recording the bass parts with a Fender J (MIM) and the Aria Pro II, and in the final mix all the rest of the band choosed the Aria as the best sounding on the mix. Anyway this is a personal taste.
