I found 2 years ago this gorgeous bass in my town, an Aria Pro SB 1000 79's , the finishing was totally a mess, and the electronics were a mess as well, so I decided to make this project a Cliff Burton tribute bass, I repainted the whole bass in black with tiny gold flecks (it's barely noticable just with the sun light, but is gorgeous) my nice friend Prostheta helped me to bring to life back all the electronics, the result was an amazing bass, very agressive sounding bass, 6 options of tones and a passive/active switch....
I decided to add the Cliff Burton signature behind the headstock but the original serial number remains, also the logos in the front of the headstock were reinstalled after the painting job, all the hardware was painted with powder coating process to avoid any possible problems in the future.
The action is very low, it's a heavy bass and the original case is included, but due the age it not in the best conditions.
I'm not looking for a trade for now.
