ART Tube EQ vs MXR-108

Hi guys. I've done a bit of searching on these two products and thought I'd post this thread in case someone has had experience with both. (I live in NZ so don't have the luxury of options or return policies)

My current amp is a Markbass LMK (two channel LMII). I don't like the EQ points very much. They don't really give me the ability to "tune" my amp to the room, so I'm finding sometimes I'm too boomy, sometimes too harsh etc.
So I've been thinking about getting the MXR-108 10-band graphic EQ but then I noticed a parametric ART Tube EQ. Both are about $250NZD = $180USD.

I'm equally happy with graphic or parametric EQ's so that's not an issue.

I'm planning on putting the EQ in the Effects Loop of the LMK so that it will affect both channels of the amp.

Anyone had experience with both of these, or either?
