I am considering getting a Full Circle and was wondering if the Art Tube MP would work as a pre amp for it. The input impedance for the 1/4 inch input is listed at 840K ohms.

Has anyone ever tried using this for a pre amp? Will this work?

The Sound of the PreAmp is good, but it is very noisy, so I wouldn't get one.

I already have one. Was wondering if it would work.

  4. Yup, she's noisy...

Go with the Fishman ProPlatinum. Search the site for info/reviews/commentary, then buy one. All our favorite purveyors (Bob G, Upton, Lemur) carry this item.

I never felt I needed any preamp, for Full Circle. If your amp has 1Mohm input, no reason for preamp I think, jut add more color.

I use one. Even with the AI it fattens up the tone a bit. It works.
