I've had this bass for about 22 years now, and never got around to identifying its maker. The neck is apparently maple, sunburst (unknown material) body with a red and black pickguard. The only identifying name on the headstock is the word 'Artist'. It plays reasonably, but doesn't seem to like the heavier gauge strings to my memory. I was sold this for around £40 I think, and just wondered if anyone could tell me the maker, as I'd like to get some info on it. I'm guessing it's a pretty cheap model, as I'm sure the guy who sold it would have known a good one. Any help appreciated.
