Ashdown amp suddenly went mute...

I have an Ashdown MAG C115-300 EVO II that has suddenly stopped working. The light turns on and there is the humming sound so the cooler is working (I don't know if I'm using the right terms, English is not my native language, sorry!). But no matter what I do, there's no sound coming out!

We had a gig few weeks back in which we had to use our own PA. Due to the ridiculous policy of the club, all our amps had to be stored in our car for one night. It was pretty cold (c. -10 C, I live in Scandinavia) but all the stuff was pretty much covered up with blankets etc. Not that the coldness should do any harm to amps. I asked one older guitarist about this and he said that he has stored his PA stuff in chilly conditions without any harm.
When we were playing (after the cold night in the car), the amp was connected to a head that belonged to another band (I can't remember the model). But it doesn't seem likely that that has caused any harm. There hasn't been any hits or clashes etc. neither.

We had a couple of weeks break from practising and when we got back to our rehearsal space the amp was mute.

Is there anything I could do for it by myself? I hate the idea of having to get it to a repair shop since I know it'll cost me a lot. And a new one would cost 500-600 euros which is a lot of money for a penniless student like me. :(

sometimes it's the silliest of things - did you have to disconnect the speaker wire from the Ashdown head to use it with the other band's head? Did you remember to reconnect it?

Actually, for the sake of clarity, let's be sure we are clear on terms. I'll use Norwegian, because I'm more familiar with it, and will also find the Swedish and Danish.

Head = amplifier (forsterker,förstärkaren ,forstærker)
Cab = speaker (høyttaler, högtalaren, højttaler)

So, what exactly did you do at the gig? Use another head to drive your cab, or use your head to drive another cab?

This is exactly what happened to my first generation (UK built) ABM 500-210 about 4-5 years ago. Right after sound check it just went dead. Still powered up, but it put out nothing except static and hum. I took it in for repair and it turned out to be the power supply.

The tech said they used high grade components throughout most of the design, but had used some lower grade parts in the power supply, which had failed. He replaced those parts and I haven't had a problem since.

Can't say if you have the exact same problem with yours, but if so, it wasn't too expensive to fix.
