Ashdown CL210 Access Mini Rig

Ok I have searched and can't find a thread. Has Anyone actually purchased or played on one? Thinking of using it as a practive rig. Looking for comments-reviews.

I waited about a year for this to become available and when it finally did I jumped on it. I think I purchased it more for the novelty of having a mini-stack than anything else.

Anyway, I haven't had much time to break it in but one thing that was hard not to notice is it's not the loudest 60 watt amp I've heard. However, it does sound much better than my Kustom KBA65 which I'll be getting rid of very soon.

For my purpose of practicing at home...the Ashdown is great. Just don't plan on using it in any type of band situation without going through a PA.

Yea thats what i was wondering.
For a practice amp with 2 10's I thought it would do better than the five-fifteen single 15 incher but I guess not.

Thanks for answering I been looking at it for a while but never seen one in real life.

Why would you think that?

The five fifteen is 100 watts instead of 60, and the single 15" speaker has a larger surface area than two tens. It stands to reason that the Five Fifteen has a bigger sound...

yeah, but volume wise the 2x10 would be louder, just not as low as the 1x15, the higher freq's dont need as much power as the lower freq's and the 2x10 would put out higher freqs, as apoosed to the 1x15 which would pur out lower freq's. i think that the reasion GK made some of their heads with only 100 watts going to the 4x10 cab, and 300watts going to the 1x15.
