Ashdown Electric Blue Question

I've had two Lowdowns pack up on me so i've decided to opt for ashdown. Intially i thought MAG300 head and 2x10 cab and then the combo.

Am i right in thinking that the MAG300 wil only produce 150 ish watts with the 8 ohm cab and to get the full 300 i need to attach another cab to lower the impedence to 4?

This leads me onto the Electric blue as money is tight - does this output the full 180 watts as a combo or does this too need another speaker to realise this full wattage?

Any combo with extension out will need another cab for full potential because the speaker/combination of speakers will be 8 ohms. If you're going to get a combo, get the MAG if you can.

+1 on getting a Mag if you do get an ashdown.

Maybe best to save money for something that you know will have enough power.

A friend of mine had one of the electric blue combos, and seriously, i can fart louder than it when its reaching its limits!
