Ashdown Mag 300 and 2 cabs.... daisy chain?

This amp has 2 outputs and my cabs have an input & output on em.

Would it be better to daisy chain the amp and cab IE

OR use one amp output per cab

Both comes back to the same thing...so do whatever you prefer. If the two cabs are 8ohms each, the amp will "see" 4ohms total.
