Ashdown MAG reliabilty issues?

Yeh, I had a look for some used stuff on Ebay, nothing at the moment but it's always changing... I'll see if i can get down to a store and check out Peavey's sound...though that aint always possible with the stores around here.
Laney do a 4ohm 4x10 cab, though i haven't heard much about their gear and i've never tried it.
Erm, s/h 8ohm cabs? Soz, don't really know what ya mean there...

If you are worried about an ashdown mag head dying on you, just get a behringer. THey sound very similar and if it dies you haven't lost as much $$$! They are probably the best valued head available!

I have a MAG300H and it seems very reliable. The Ashdown tone is crazy though, i wouldnt substitute it for Behringer.

I thought since there is room to expand with a MAG 300h and a MAG4x10 deep cab, aswell as the volume and tone to do what i need to do right now, i may aswell go for that.
Now there's the small matter of another 200 and something quid
