Bought one earlier this year, in late january.
Was trying out a few cheap/budget basses in a store close to me, when, all of a sudden, an employee brought this one out of storage.
Love at first sight and first play, so to speak.
It's got a nice light weight, due to the poplar body, but not too light.
The jazzbass style roasted neck feels absolutely comfortable, and the alnico pickups have a nice ring to them, with plenty of output.
Tone control does make a difference here, unlike many budget basses it's no on/off type of switch.
So, yeah, bought it after 3 minutes of playing, €299, and I got a free padded travelbag with it to take it home safely.
