the serial number is KO28164
need your guide matte
is this JV squier 84's?

thanks

No number on the neckplate?? Got a better pic of the headstock?? My JV says Made in Japan under the Squier name and "by Fender" under the Precision Bass. Also, my truss nut is under the pickguard.

Pics of mine:

the number is on the headstock but he blur that out on the pics
actualy it`s kind suspicious the precision font look like on american p-bass,but it damn good color i love that white color
does anyone can give me another guidance about this bass

btw
cool JV matte!:bassist:

Whatever it is, it's not a JV Squier.

My guess would be that it's a Silver Series, just going by the one piece pickguard. They had those tuners and headstock truss adjustment too. That sort of fits with the KXXXXXX serial (90-91), as the Silver Series came out in '92.

It should say 'silver series' on the ball of the headstock.

wow thanks a lot matte!
yes, after see some of silver series model i`m getting sure that this thing was silver series

next question
here what i got
-squier silver series 90`s
-dimarzio DP122 pick up
-hardcase i`m don`t know what hardcase but the seller gave me a hardcase
-that grungy white look p-bass(i want to battered it out like paul simonon) :D

i don`t think i can`t love any color than this white p-bass :p
what you guys think about dimarzio DP122?
then is this bass worthed?for 270 bucks?

i dig the neck and even kinda dig the grafitti ....stickers gotta go but i really dig the white pups.. as for what its worth the question is what is it worth to you. any bass that looks good feels good and sounds good UNDER $300 is worth it to me. id say $270 is decent for it, maybe talk it down to $230-$250 i say its a decent score and im a lil jealous that i never see stuff like this available in my area

Its a Silver Series no doubt. Did you notice the headstock corner near the E string tuning machine? Its sharper as opposed to a more rounded found on typical Fender P. That is one hidden difference of Silver Series series.

The pickguard is not original factory installed. It should have 13 screws and holes for pickup cover screws.

If the sliver series logo is erased on the heasdtock, just unbolt the neck, you will find a SPB stamp on the neck and PB on the neck pocket. That will confirm its a Silver series.

thanks for all your help guide
here come`s the grungy one`s
in a beautiful hardcase

and i love the sound! :bassist:
it`s much more punchy than my MII jazzbass
more bright and more noisy :hyper:
maybe because the aged neck
i love old wood!:D

and yes it has 13 hole on pickguard
before it was 12 because the pickguard is covered by black decal
actualy the pickguard is red tortoise :hyper:

for 290 buck plus hardcase i satisfy

another question

is every p-bass punchy better than j-bass? :D
coz i think i`m fully pledged p-bassist now :D
