at the butcher shop

Alright- I have the core of the bass all squared up, got a couple of nice hunks of Honduras mahogany for the wings & several peces of walnut for top/back(s).; I'm stopped because I can't resaw the walnut. Does anyone know of a shop in Northern Cali(Sacramento area)that could split a few boards?

There's a door shop in Marysville that might. Auburn/Grass Valley/Nevada City as well (there's a luthier up in those parts iirc) There was one in Oroville, not sure if he's still around, he made some nice furniture and sold exotic wood. Google is gimped by my employer so I can't search anything out for ya. good luck.
