ATA case for short scale Fender bass?

Hello --

I own a Fender Musicmaster bass (same footprint as Mustang bass). Am about to go on tour overseas with it. I am looking for a reasonably priced SKB style flight case that would fit this bass but am not having any luck. Would a guitar case work like the SKB 66? Anybody have experience with this?
