AtelierZ M245 ,Is there any difference between the old model and the new model?

I have an old Atelier Z M245 model.
(Badass ii bridge , Bartolini XTCT )
I wonder if there is any difference in sound from the new Atelier Z M245 model.
( Bartolini XTCT + Spectrum boost )

Atelier Z M245 If there is a lot of difference in sound between the old model and the new
model, I would like to purchase a new model.

I own a 2016 M245 (4th one in the pic) and an m265 from the 90s/2000 ‘s (2nd one). The bass tone is very similar, but the 90s one has some differences I prefer. It’s 19 mm spacing rather than 18, it’s got a mid range control on the front rather than hidden in the control cavity, and string through body.

As to tonal differences, I had another 90s M265 years ago, and I’ve been chasing that tone ever since. When I bought the 2016, it was close but not exactly there. The 90s one has given me what I wanted. I’m convinced the weight adds something to the tone.

Now that being said, I recorded some takes playing a scale with each in varying knob positions, but i’m not sure i could ACTUALLY tell them apart in a double blind test.

I’ve considered selling my 2016 one since they're so similar, but i haven’t tried playing an hour gig with the 90s one yet. It weighs 13.5lbs and its noticeable after a song or two.

I can only make comparisons from recollection as I haven’t had both in my hand at the same time but the new ones with the spectrum boost, in my opinion, don’t sound as good. Danny from Bass Japan Direct(Atelier Z dealer) also told me he’s had other customers tell him this as well.
