ATK pickup mod

Theres another guy that modded his 300 with one, but he kept it active and with the stock humbucker, so thats probably a better approximation of what itll sound like. Think he used a dimarzio ultra jazz from what I recall, he seemed pretty happy with it.

Ive got some (very) rough mixes of the new album I recorded with my band, if you want a listen then PM me but theyre hella coloured sounding. Its all passive with a basculture.de humbucker istead of the stock with a seymour jazz hot stack probably in a similar position to an old jazz bass, no balance pot or anything so the humbucker is louder then the Jazz pickup too cos the humbucker is VERY loud. All that recorded through a sansamp DI (albeit ran without any blend so about as clean as a sansamp gets) which also got reamped into a marshall VBA400+matching 8x10 stack miced with a 57 for some mids.

Sounds really nice, albeit lacking a little depth at the moment, but not quite the clean DI sample of a sound youd actually get youd be better off with.
