For those who don know its the GC special ATK limited run and i was just wondering are these worth keeping stock for the sake of future value or is it just like any other ATK.
ATK's are now ~15 years into their lifespan... They are brilliant basses IMHO (2 of my 4 basses are ATK's), but I just can't see them becoming vintage/valuable.
They're great workhorses, but those who really want to collect things will buy vintage stingrays. Do what you want to do to it to make it yours/work for you. If you want rare ATK's there's already the USATK's, the factory fretless ATK300FL (which has a rosewood board like yours), and the higher-end ATK's from the 90's.
