Mark - what really cemented it for me was when I compared to cost of buying all the parts and assembling them myself plus the cost of a pro set up vs. the cost of having Dan do all the work it was just about a wash (within $100). So for that amount of money, I get a warrantee, and some piece of mind that it will be done right.
My wife was relieved when she learned about this since she knows fancy necks and wood tops are quite pricey. Her exact words: "I was planning on being out of the house the day you put that thing together".
Count me in with this photo for now. I have another P/J from Dan on the way. I'll snap some photos of both of them together when it arrives.
Let us know how you like that - I've wanted a P/J for a while, but didn't want to settle - the usual suspects are too expensive, and didn't want a mysterious foreign model...
