I price matched a 5 and a 4. Waiting...
I really should be saving for something that I really really want. But this is a sweet deal. Gotta keep my options open haha.
But I should have at least 1 active around, right? :ninja: and its string thru

Oh my god. I put in for a price match on a 4 and a 5, thinking "why not". They only sent me the price on the 5'er... (which i put in 10 minutes after the 4) let's just say I paid less than any of the 4's have gone for, shipping included. I had no choice but to buy!

Jump on these now guys. I've got my first 5 string headed my way for less than my SX. :)

Methinks not everyone at Music123 understands what they are supposed to do in this situation. Congrats on what sounds like an incredible score!

I put in a price match for a 4-string black as well. It's been about 3 hours with no email so they may have decided to restrict those (or may have sold out)?

Go to the bass you want on the Musicians friend website. Copy the URL. Then go to Music123 and find the same ATK. on that page there should be a "seen a better price" link. Click on it, put in your info and the URL from MF and submit it.

keep in mind, when they send you a price quote, they usually add a bunch of other stuff to the cart as well. this time around they added a $70 hard case. all you do is leave it there, click "add to cart" on the quote page and once you're on the actual cart page, you can then remove all the extra crap.

i've bought recording gear this way before, and they often like to add little things like picks or extended warranties... but you're not obligated to buy any of the extras. just enjoy the sweet, sweet score!

Hello there, been using one for years, has a brass nut but other than that totally original (4-string)....I actually loaned to a friend that had it four probably four years and I got it back and forgot how cool it was! Very funky and comfortable even with the chunky neck...Slammin good bass for the $$$$
People are not exaggerating saying they can be a stingray killer, check out the "Me Shell N Dege Ocello" youtube videos,,, the guy is killin it on one of these!

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I just got mine from GC.com today. It was sitting there on my porch waiting for me when I got hime from work.

I freaked when I saw the blow out sale. I paid $484.00 for mine. GC has a price match gurantee so I think I can get the difference plus 10%.

I dig the bass though.
