ATK's on clearance at MF.

I just got my price match for the 4 banger for $169. (If anybody wants it PK me).
Call them up... $10 more for the fiver. Also, I was surprised that the rep on the other end didn't even know about the ATK's and he was supposed to be the bass specialist. You'd think if he were the guy who the bass orders get routed to that he would have known exactly where to go to find the bass to match and been very aware of it. Either that or the sales of these are confined mostly to TB'ers. The musicians who don't frequent TB are likley clueless about these deals and the couple dozen TB'ers who have posted here are making up the bulk of the sales.

Can't understand why people are getting quotes of $180 for the 5 string,and others $219. Just doesn't make sense!
Does anybody know if receiving a quote actually holds a bass for you for any length of time? Andy_D said the burst 5ers are sold out; I have an offer for one that says it's in stock. So presumably if I tried to redeem it now, I'd end up getting the OOS email afterward, or do I get one because they already sent me the offer?
Edit: I first submitted a match request for a burst 5er, then I sent requests for both 5ers from another email address to see if I'd get a different deal. The offer for the black 5er was the same as the first burst 5er (and from the same guy, "JP Rees"), and I haven't heard anything regarding the second burst.

I got 2 quotes today. One for 169 with the rep name Jason N , and one JR for 130.99. I just hit that one. Red Sparkle was the only option.
I called M123, and they told me the black one was backordered. They said red sparkle was still in stock, so I cancelled the black and got the red at the same price, 130.99.
I think it depends on whichever salesperson handles the quote. I got two quotes on 5 strings... burst 5'er for $219 that came in this morning, and that one didn't have any accessories added to the cart. And the black sparkle 5'er that came in last night which was... insanely cheap. I'm leaving it at that so I don't jinx anything. My shipping confirmation came in, but UPS doesn't have a record of it yet. The ultra low price on the black sparkle 5'er included a $70 hardcase in my cart, but it was easy enough to remove it.
I did call. Rep matched the MF $199.99 price and said that was all he could do.
I wonder if they won't place a priority on those of us who also ordered the warranty. I use to work retail and those after market warranties are margin boosters and sometime we would sell at cost just to get the warranty sale credit. It could be an interesting time if I get a stand, a case & a warranty paperwork but no guitar...

O yeah..it said I may get more than one package...which would be wierd, cuz I just ordered the bass...hmm maybe they'll take the neck off and ship it seperately?..lol

Just tried to use my 180 quote from last night for the burst 5 and when I tried to add to cart it said it was discontinued and unavailable. Looks like they are gone.
