audition advice

i landed an audition this week with a pretty serious artist. i've never really done anything like this before, and was wondering if you had any general advice, or any common audition pitfalls to avoid.

Be perfectly prepared with the material.

Relax, play and have fun.

Be yourself.

Everything else is all about how the artist perceives you, and that is up to them.

So really, you have no choice but to be prepared, relax, enjoy yourself, and have fun.
