Austin Music?

Here are a few-South Austin Music, Austin Vintage Guitars, Moon Music. Small but cool rooms-Ginny's Little Longhorn, Knomad, Sam's, Hole in The Wall. Kick Butt Coffee, Saxon Pub, Continental Club, C Boys , Antones, Sahara Lounge, The Lost Well.

Man, I lived in austin in the early 90's. Spent my share of time rt the Saxon pub, hole in the wall, and Continental Club. (In addition to Liberty Lunch, Emos, the Carrousel Lounge and a few other spots that are probably long gone) glad to see these institutions still standing.

Some nice stuff listed above already. Adding Austin Guitar House to the list of shops (they’ve scaled their bass inventory back a bit but they still have some great stuff), and be sure to check out The Elephant Room, Parker Jazz Club and Monk’s if you like jazz.

The nice thing about Saxon is it's literally right next door to South Austin Music. Hit SAM up first (they are one of the few non-GC shops in Austin open on Sundays too, albeit they close at 5) and then walk next door to the Saxon Pub for a brewski.
