I don't expect many to like this. I do, very much actually.
This is me on piano, bass, and drums:
I first put together the piano track (this took time). I am not a pianist, so this was multiple tracks pieced together (the high notes, the low chords, and the middle)....it took some time but was happy enough to have it be my basis for the song. I added my own middle section then came back to the beginning part one more time to finish it up.
Next I put the drums in, and finally I recorded the bass over it. Did the bass about four times before I was satisfied. So that is the bones of the piece, tried to make it my own.
I found a place online where you can grab some great royalty free horns and I used just a little bit in the middle, hope it was classy!
So here it is, a bunch of you will say "go back to the basics....you are getting ahead of yourself". That is fine....I understand. I am learning stuff and having fun!
