I bought Hartke 3500 mosfet and and will test it at gig next weekend. The issue is, my rig is stored in a warehouse 50 miles away and I can not hook it up and test. So I'm wondering, what is a best way to connect everything together? I play active bass, going into Diamond compressor, Avalon U5 and my stage rig (amp + cab). DI goes from U5 to FOH, so I can tweak my stage sound w/o making sound guy going nuts.
I really like how the Avalon preamp sounds, and not sure should I bypass HA's preamp, and is it safe to send line level signal to eff. return?
ps, is it fine to use a XLR>6,5mm plug cable from Avalon's line out?
