Avalon U5 usage

I am sure everyone is so sick of this type of thread. There is already a thread out there, but the replies didn't answer my question. If anyone can help, I would be so appreciative.

I just bought an Avalon U5 pre-amp to use live with my acoustic guitar. I have a larivee acoustic with a fishman pickup and an effects pedal board. I would be doing two different types of gigs.

1. With our own PA system with me attatching an acoustic amp into our PA system.

2. Going directly into the PA system of a music club we frequently play.

I'm really having a hard time knowing where and how to plug everything in. In the music club, would I be ok just replacing the club's house DI with the U5? Or should I do it differently?

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!sorry for the long post

It's not that difficult. You have options.

You can use the U5 in place of the house DI. That's probably "The norm"

You can put it inline just about anywhere including the speaker out of your amp (400W max) if you want.

There's no real right answer.

There's a ver good explanation of what all the buttons do in..the recording forum?

Better than the 2 page spec sheet.
