I currently run an EpifaniPS112 and a Avatar210Neo together thru a CarvinBX500 amp. However I need more thump and boom so to speak. I would like another 12 to stack but the Epifani has a handle on the top the makes stacking wobbly. Has anyone stacked Avatar210Neos together, and how did it sound and work out? Any suggestions are appreciated. 2 210s or 2 12's?? Daisy chained together or run out of seperate plugs from the amp??? The Avatar has the bottom front ports as well and what difference would that make as opposed to using just a complete 212 unit?? Thanks

Avatar 210 NEO question

I currently have both an Avatar 2x10 and a 1x12. I've stacked them vertically with the 2x10 on top. It works fine and was stable enough for me not to worry about it. Sounded very nice, and I liked it better than the 1x12 by itself. I'm kind of torn now whether I want to get another 1x12 or another 2x10 for a matched stack, but that's the eventual goal for me.

I have two Avatar neo 2x10 cabs and stack them vertically and it's perfectly stable. I used two different speaker cables from the amp. It also gets pretty damn loud.
They say that stacking them vertically makes for better dispersion but when I've stacked them horizontally they seem to really pack a wallop.

I've got 2 SB112's that I'm stacking vertically. Loving them! So far in bedroom playing and practices its been great. Will gig this cab config and a GK MB500 outside (with PA support) later this month. The true test will be the gig.
I find myself generally preferring 12s these days. But in your situation, I wouldn't hesitate to get a second Avatar 2x10 and stack 'em vertically, as has been suggested.
Should move all the air you really need. They might not yield quite as much sheer thump as the 12s. But they're likely to be louder, a bit more articulate...and maybe a bit more balanced.
Thump is over-rated anyway, IMHO...

I use Avatar b410 Neos = to 2 b210 neos stacked horizontally and a Markbass 800w head for power. I get incredible thump. The Avatar Neos pump a LOT of air!
So my recommendation is go for another B210 neo cab and stack 'em either way that suits your sound. They're great.
I've got 2 B410s but rarely use the second one (mostly for outdoor venues where the 8 10s create enough sound to make it sound as solid as if we were indoors.

With my Markbass I can do it either way and get the same sound and power the way they have the outputs wired.
Not sure about your amp head. It wouldn't hurt to check your manual, but I'm guessing you can do the same thing with yours.

I have an Avatar Neo210 stacked atop an Avatar B153 and the sound is fantastic.
I know there are a lot of players who say only use the same cab as an extension... I really don't know why.
These two together sound just fine to me powered with a Mesa M6.

I have 3 Avatar cabs, older 410, older single 15 and one year old 210 neo. I use different cabinets for different gig situations. Power with Markbass LM II and I play a Musicman Stingray 5 HH. I have played bass for over 45 years and I just love the power and tone from this combination. Two 210 Neo cabinets are a slick way to go as they sound great and are very easy to transport-you could even use them as PA speakers in a small room or rehersal. If you want killer low end, I would go with Avatar B153 which has a special Eminance Kappalite 3015LF speaker rated at 450 Rms and procuces huge low end. The speakers cone moves almost twice as far as a 15 Eminance Neo basslite. I dont know whay Eminance does not advertise these speakers as replacement bass guitar speakers. I may sell my older 410 because I am turning 60 soon and it is just too heavy, but all these Avatars cabinets have been outstanding. Only gripe I have hear is speakers are mounted with drywall screws, but my 410 and 15 cabints are 10 years old and I just checked the drywall screws holding the speakers in and they were all tight and doing the job.
I have basically the same setup - Epi PS112 and Avatar B210, not neo, and just hooked these up to a LMII I just got from a fellow TBer. I had the two cabs daisy-chained together, with the 112 on top, going into the head. The two cabs together sound so much better than each on their own. The flab from my p-bass is gone, just tight, loud, warm tone coming through.
