I was wondering if "anybody" on the TB Fourms has or know someone who has an SPL (dB/Hz) chart for Avatars Neo 212 and Neo 210? I can't find it on Avatars site. I own the new model Neo 212 and would like to know where I stand with this cabinet on this chart as I'm thinking of adding a Neo 210 or going the DIY route with a Bill Fitzmaurice Omni 15. I'm a huge fan of thick old school tone and I guess I've been reading (learning a few things) up the way dB/Hz are used to market cabs. But knowing what I have first I feel is the best place to start. Thanks!

No, you didn't. You found the response charts of single drivers mounted in a standard test baffle, which isn't the same thing by a long shot. No manufacturer of bass cabs publishes SPL charts. Most of them don't even have any, and those few that do won't reveal them.

Oddly enough, I emailed Dave at Avatar a few days ago with this exact question, because I'm looking at buying or building new cabinets, and am currently playing a modest head, power-wise, so I wanted to make sure anything I got was at least noticeably more sensitive than the current Peavey 410T I'm playing.

I asked about the 210 and 212, and he responded with "they're about 99 or 100."

Responded quickly, too, which gives me a good feeling about the company to start with. Wish that 212 was vertical.

So there you go!
