I paid about $40 for mine at MF a few years ago. Dunno if the link has a misprint but mine adjusts to 30".
One complaint I have is with the height of the backrest but it is easily remedied by removing the top of the adjustment sleeve which allows the back to me moved lower. I also bent it slightly to provide better lumbar support.
It's worn a butt cradle for the last year which really puts it into another league.
This chair is really well made and a great value.

Two U-bolts and a short steel bar would be easy enough to make it adjustable. The backrest modification was big for me.
1)The backrest is pretty much useless. It's not adjustable and it's too far back, at least for me. I like to sit up straight and you have to lean back for this one.

bought mine on Amazon for $70 shipped. Very solid, adjusts plenty high
I use one of these at home for practice and take it to some gigs, not a good stool if you have to walk far to get to where you are playing as it can be a bit unwieldy and heavy over long distances, anybody tried this one:[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] ?
This looks like a neat stool but a little scary with the seat at it's top position...
